We offer our prayers and sympathy if you are visiting this page because a loved one has died. Please be assured that we will do everything we can to help you plan a fitting and memorable funeral or thanksgiving service, whether you choose to hold it in church, at a crematorium or in a funeral director’s chapel.

In most instances we recommend that your first point of contact for making the practical arrangements should be with a funeral director, who will then liaise with us, but please do contact us directly if you would like to talk to a member of the Ministry Team. We are here to help you through this difficult time.

Alternatively you can find more general help and advice about funerals on this
Church of England website.

‘Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.’

(John 14: 1–4)
